History

In 1987, serving as an independent contractor to a fortune 5 Oil and Gas company, Richard Jones saw the opportunity created by bringing the best and brightest of the IT talent working on a statistical application for the exploration database into one firm. Several of those consultants are still with us today and in leading roles within the company and with our clients.

Today, over 20 years later, Bluware still maintains that original relationship as well as relationships with other clients spanning decades. Beginning with Science and Engineering Application development, Bluware expanded its service offerings into ERP installation and integration, Infrastructure Services, and Talent Solutions, to name a few.

This diversification, coupled with the company’s hallmark of hiring leading edge talent, earned Bluware the reputation it has today: a high-level company, offering both depth and breadth, capable of developing creative solutions tailored to our clients specific needs, and with the experience to back it up.
